In September 2018, Sahabhag – Social Responsibility Cell of the Chief Minister’s Office, Government of Maharashtra was conferred the Skoch Awards for ‘Order of Merit’ and ‘Silver’ under the category of Corporate Social Responsibility (Community Outreach and Development). Skoch Awards, awarded by the Skoch Group honors people, projects and institutions who go the extra mile in nation-building.
Sahabhag participated in a competitive evaluation across the country in the category for Corporate Social Responsibility (Community Outreach and Development), followed by a thorough research by Skoch Group on the impact created, and an Evaluation Presentation to a jury of domain experts constituted. Sahabhag was among 31 nominees awarded the Order of Merit, out of a total pool of 150 applicants, and among the 11 awardees for the Silver Category Award for Community Outreach and Development.
Mr. Ishu Sindhu, Asst. Resident Commissioner (Protocol) received the SKOCH Award on behalf of Sahabhag, Government of Maharashtra.
